Steps to delete your account (in the app)

The fastest path is in the Gahmbit app or web product after you sign in:

• Open Gahmbit and sign in with the account you want to delete.
• Go to Settings → Account.
• Under Delete account, tap Delete account and follow the confirmation prompts (you must type your account email).
• If you are the only admin of an active organization, archive that organization first (Settings → Organization → Archive) or promote another admin, then retry. Gahmbit will not leave an active company without an admin.
• After confirmation, Gahmbit removes your platform account and memberships and deletes your Firebase Authentication identity. You are signed out.

Steps to request deletion without the app

If you cannot use Settings → Account, request deletion by contacting Linkstone Studios:

• Email or contact form: https://linkstone-studios.com — include the subject “Gahmbit account deletion”.
• State the email address on the Gahmbit account and that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.
• We verify that you control the account (for example by confirming ownership of the email) before processing.
• We process verified requests within 30 days, sooner when practical. Complex cases (sole admin of an active org, open billing questions) may need you to archive the org or transfer admin first.

What is deleted

When your Gahmbit account deletion completes, we delete or irreversibly anonymize personal account data, including:

• Your authentication identity (Firebase Authentication user for that login).
• Your platform user profile (email and display name are removed or anonymized so the address can no longer sign in as you).
• Your memberships in Gahmbit organizations (you leave every org).
• Slack user links that map your login to a Slack identity, when present.
• Your ability to use optional integrations or product surfaces that require that login.

What is retained (and why)

Some data is not removed by deleting a personal account, because it is organization or legal/ops data:

• Organization strategy content — people directory snapshots, cycles, objectives, key results, check-ins, comments, coverage, teams, and related tenant data stay in that organization’s dedicated database for remaining members (radical transparency). Deleting your login does not erase the company’s OKRs.
• Organization billing and prepaid AI credit ledger rows, payment-method display metadata, and related audit records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal retention.
• Soft-archived organizations and operational backups, retained for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes as described in Privacy.
• De-identified or aggregated operational metrics that no longer identify you.
• Records we must keep under law (for example tax or dispute records) for the applicable retention period.

To remove an entire company’s presence from Gahmbit, an organization admin must archive the organization in Settings (soft-archive; restore requires support). That is separate from deleting a personal account.

Partial data deletion without closing the account

You can remove or update some personal data without deleting your account: edit your display name and profile photo in Settings → Account; clear your photo to use initials; disconnect optional integrations where the product offers that; and leave an organization when another admin removes you or you ask an admin to remove you. Full account closure uses Delete account as described above.
