Terms of Use

Effective August 15, 2026

Terms governing use of Gahmbit and the gahmbit.com marketing site, operated by Linkstone Studios.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gahmbit (including app.gahmbit.com and related clients) and the marketing site at gahmbit.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Linkstone Studios (“Linkstone,” “we,” “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or accepting these Terms in-product, you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

1. The Service

Gahmbit is a radical-transparency OKR platform. Core organization features — including directory and coverage, cycles, OKR create/read/update, check-ins, comments, company-wide visibility within your organization, and non-AI people sync — are currently offered as a free core. Optional surfaces such as Slack and Agents may be enabled per organization. Optional AI inference is currently metered against a prepaid organization credit wallet. Enabling optional surfaces does not itself require a subscription; inference burns credits. How we price and bill the Service may change as described in Section 7.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to avoid disrupting free-core OKR workflows when making changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Service. Unless we sign a separate written service-level agreement with your organization, the Service is not provided under an SLA, and no uptime, support-response, or performance commitment applies.

Preview, alpha, beta, or experimental features are provided “as is,” may be inaccurate or withdrawn at any time, and are excluded from any availability or support commitment.

2. Accounts and organizations

The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. The Service is not directed to children. You must not allow anyone under 16 to create an account or submit personal information.

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Organization admins are responsible for managing membership, roles, billing settings, and optional integrations for their organization.

Authentication is provided via Firebase Authentication. You must comply with any applicable identity-provider terms.

You consent to receive notices and operational communications electronically — to your account email and in the product. Keep a current admin email on file.

3. Radical transparency (important)

Within an organization, authenticated members can read that organization’s OKRs and related org-visible strategy content. There is no privacy toggle that hides objectives or key results from other members of the same organization. Missing OKR coverage is a visible product state.

Do not upload content you are not authorized to share with every authenticated member of your organization. Linkstone is not responsible for internal visibility that follows from how the product works.

Isolation between different customer organizations is enforced after membership checks. You must not attempt to access another organization’s data.

4. Employment, HR, and people decisions

Gahmbit is a strategy and OKR tool. It is not a human-resources system of record, payroll system, or employment-decision engine. Scores, coverage states (including Missing), overdue indicators, comments, check-ins, alignment links, contributor or watcher labels, AI findings, and similar output are informational product states — not determinations of employee performance, compensation, promotion, discipline, or termination.

You and your organization are solely responsible for all employment, labor, works-council, privacy, and personnel decisions, and for complying with applicable employment and data-protection law when you use radical transparency, coverage, or AI features. Linkstone is not a party to your employment relationships and is not liable for claims arising from how you use the Service in managing people — including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage, privacy, defamation, or similar claims — except to the extent caused by Linkstone’s willful misconduct.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
  • Probe, scan, or breach security or tenancy boundaries; attempt to access another organization’s database or accounts.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent rate limits, metering, or access controls.
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product by systematically scraping or extracting non-public platform data beyond ordinary use.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or abuse invites and membership.
  • Use the Service for life-support, emergency response, medical diagnosis or treatment, or other high-risk activities where failure or inaccurate output could cause death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental harm.
  • Use the Service if you are on a U.S. or other applicable sanctions list, located in an embargoed jurisdiction, or otherwise prohibited from receiving U.S. software or services. You must comply with export-control and sanctions laws.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk to the Service or other customers, or non-payment related to paid features.

6. Customer content

You and your organization retain ownership of content you submit to Gahmbit (“Customer Content”), including OKRs, people data, comments, and similar tenant data.

You grant Linkstone a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use Customer Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service, and as described in the Privacy Policy — including displaying org-visible content to members of your organization and processing content for optional AI features you enable.

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit Customer Content and to grant this license, and that use of Customer Content in the Service will not violate law or third-party rights.

As between you and Linkstone, you own AI output generated for your organization from your Customer Content, subject to these Terms. Output may be similar to output generated for others. We do not warrant that output is unique, accurate, or non-infringing. You are responsible for reviewing output before you use or publish it.

If you give us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant Linkstone a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

We may use de-identified or aggregated operational metrics (for example feature usage and reliability) to operate and improve the Service. That does not include training models on your OKR text, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Free core, credits, and payments

Currently, the free core is available without prepaid credits. Optional AI inference requires available organization credits. Zero balance blocks new inference; it does not remove free-core OKR features or revoke read access to prior org-visible AI findings.

Currently, credit packs and auto-refill (when enabled) are purchased by organization admins through Stripe Checkout or related web billing flows. Native mobile clients do not sell credit packs in-app; admins fund the wallet on the web. Credits are for metered inference on the organization wallet and do not unlock a separate “paid plan” for free-core features. Credits do not expire for the current product generation unless we clearly announce a change.

Credits are a prepaid metering unit for the Service. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not transferable between organizations, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Promotional, trial, or manually granted credits may be modified or revoked. Unused credits are not refundable and, unless we state otherwise, are forfeited if the organization is terminated for breach or abandoned.

Fees are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. You are responsible for all taxes, duties, and similar governmental charges associated with your purchases, excluding taxes on Linkstone’s net income. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, purchases are non-refundable once credits are delivered to the wallet. Chargebacks or payment failures may pause auto-refill or billing features until resolved.

Stripe’s terms apply to payment processing. You authorize us and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for packs, opted-in auto-refill, and any other amounts you agree to pay under the then-current commercial terms.

Pricing and commercial model. Linkstone has sole and exclusive authority to set, change, or replace the Service’s prices and commercial model at any time. That includes, without limitation, list prices, pack sizes, credit or token rates, discounts, taxes and fees, what is included in any then-current free or paid offering, what usage is metered or billed, and the billing method itself — for example prepaid credits, auto-refill, invoices, usage-based charges, subscriptions, or enterprise contracts. The prepaid-credit description in this section is how we sell optional AI today. It is not a promise that we will always sell that way, or at any particular price. Published prices (including /pricing, in-product catalogs, and checkout) apply only to a purchase you complete at that time and may change before a future purchase. Nothing in these Terms, the pricing page, or marketing materials creates a vested right to any particular price, pack, rate, feature set, or commercial model.

For a material change to prices or the commercial model that applies to an existing organization, we will post a revised version of these Terms and, when practical, notify organization admins in-product or by email. New purchases and continued use of the Service after the stated effective date constitute acceptance of the change where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using paid features and do not make further purchases. Credits already delivered to an organization wallet remain usable for then-supported metered inference unless we clearly announce a conversion, expiration, or wind-down. Except where required by law, a pricing or model change does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.

8. Optional AI and integrations

Optional AI uses private open-source models and does not train on your OKR text. Prompt bodies are not retained by default on the platform billing store or provider training path; run metadata is retained for metering. When Agents are enabled, org-visible workflow findings and coach transcripts are archived in your organization’s database as product output — not a training corpus. Details: Privacy Policy and Trust.

AI features may produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or biased output, including fabricated statements. AI output is not legal, financial, HR, medical, or other professional advice and is not a substitute for human judgment. You must review output before relying on it or posting it to Slack or other systems. You represent that you have the rights to submit any prompts, files, or context you provide to AI features, including Org Brain sources.

Integrations (for example Slack or HRIS/CSV sync) are optional. You are responsible for configuring them lawfully and for content posted to third-party systems. Third-party services are governed by their own terms; Linkstone is not responsible for those services.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation (excluding Customer Content), is owned by Linkstone or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except to the extent prohibited by law), or create derivative works of the Service. Open-source components are licensed under their own licenses, which control as to those components.

10. Confidentiality

Non-public technical or business information disclosed by either party should be treated as confidential and used only to perform under these Terms, except for information that is public through no fault of the recipient, independently developed, or rightfully received from a third party. Org-visible Customer Content shared inside an organization is not confidential as to other members of that organization.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKSTONE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OKR OUTCOMES, SCORES, OR AI OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR EMPLOYMENT, COMPENSATION, LEGAL, OR COMPLIANCE DECISIONS. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK FOR RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE.

AI output may be incorrect or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before relying on them for business decisions.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKSTONE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKSTONE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO LINKSTONE FOR THE SERVICE (INCLUDING CREDITS OR OTHER FEES) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100).

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION ALLOCATE THE RISKS OF THE SERVICE BETWEEN THE PARTIES AND ARE A FUNDAMENTAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN. WE WOULD NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE WITHOUT THEM.

You must bring any claim arising out of the Service or these Terms within one (1) year after the claim accrued, or it is permanently barred, except where a longer period is required by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Linkstone and its officers, employees, and agents against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Customer Content; your use of the Service or AI output; your employment, HR, or personnel decisions; your integrations or content posted to third-party systems; or your violation of these Terms or law — except to the extent caused by Linkstone’s willful misconduct.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation creates material risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, paid fees owed, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and the claim-period limit) survive termination.

You are responsible for exporting or backing up Customer Content you need. After termination or account deletion we may delete Customer Content as described in the Privacy Policy. We have no obligation to retain it for you. Unused credits are handled as described in Section 7.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms — including the pricing and commercial-model terms in Section 7 — by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may also be noticed in-product or by email to organization admins when practical. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Linkstone Studios maintains its principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. Except where prohibited, courts in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, provided that Linkstone may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or the Service. If you are a consumer entitled to mandatory protections in your country of residence, those protections still apply.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-product order, credit-pack, or other commercial terms, are the entire agreement for the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to Linkstone may be sent via https://linkstone-studios.com; notices to you may be sent to your account email or shown in the product.

The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship, and there are no third-party beneficiaries except as stated for app-store providers below.

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of cloud, payment, identity, or model providers, denial-of-service attacks, labor disputes, or government action.

If you download a mobile client from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that the store provider is not a party to these Terms, is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no maintenance or warranty obligation to you. The store provider is a third-party beneficiary of this acknowledgment and may enforce it. Your use of the store is also subject to that store’s terms.
